AFTERCARE PROTOCOL
Follow for 24-48 Hours

  • Wear loose fit clothing

  • No sexual activity

  • No tanning (sunbathing, tanning beds, or spray tans)

  • No hot bath or showers (cool to lukewarm only)

  • No saunas, hot tubs, massage, or steam treatments

  • No gym or any other physical activity

  • Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashed hands

  • No artificial fragrances, color soaps, lotions, and sprays in the waxed area

HISTAMINE REACTIONS

Histamines increase blood flow to the area as an inflammatory response. Waxing shocked the skin and the body natural mechanism is coming to help. This can result in white or red bumps. Typically this will subside within 24-48 hours. Hydrocortisone or Benadryl can help if this reaction lasts longer.

EXFOLIATING INSTRUCTIONS

START 72 HOURS POST WAX

Exfoliation is key to help prevent and get rid of existing ingrown hair. I highly recommend using the Merben body brushes before the shower or during with a mild soap. Either brush is to be used in a clockwise, upward motion on the skin. This will remove dead skin cells that can build up and clog follicles. The PFB roll on or Fur Oil would then be used after the shower. Either one helps to clear your pores and allow the hair to properly grow. This combination is highly effective in clearing and preventing ingrown hair. The exfoliation process will also help hair cycles grow more evenly, enabling you to achieve better waxing results.
